Job Title: Senior QA Engineer Location: Pune Experience Required: 710 Years Employment Type: Full-Time Job Summary We are seeking a highly skilled Senior QA Engineer to join our quality assurance team. The ideal candidate will have 710 years of experience in QA with a strong command over SQL, Linux, and test automation frameworks. This role requires a detail-oriented professional who can lead testing efforts, ensure product quality, and work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver reliable software solutions. Key Responsibilities (KRA) Design, implement, and maintain robust test automation frameworks for web and backend applications Perform hands-on functional, regression, integration, and performance testing Write complex SQL queries to validate backend data and ensure data integrity Conduct root cause analysis of test failures and drive issues to resolution Lead end-to-end testing cycles and contribute to test strategy and planning Collaborate with developers, product managers, and DevOps to ensure timely delivery of quality releases Set up and manage test environments using Linux-based systems Mentor junior QA team members and support knowledge sharing Drive continuous improvements in QA processes and tools Prepare test plans, test cases, and QA documentation in alignment with project requirements Required Skillsets Strong hands-on experience with automation tools like Selenium, TestNG, Cypress, JUnit, or similar Proficiency in SQL for backend data validation and writing complex queries Solid understanding of Linux/Unix commands and shell scripting Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or CircleCI Knowledge of REST API testing tools like Postman or REST Assured Familiarity with performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter) is a plus Excellent analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills Strong verbal and written communication skills Experience in Agile/Scrum development environments Qualifications Bachelors/Masters degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (ref:hirist.tech) Show more Show less
