Siemens offers a broad portfolio of grid control and automation; low- and medium-voltage power distribution, switching and control; and building automation, fire safety and security, HVAC control and energy solutions.Area of Responsibility1 Incoming Quality Inspection Lab2 Sample Retention Area3 Racks for storage of material under quality check.4 Hold Area and Incoming Rejection Area.Key Responsibilities in BriefA Parts InspectionB QI Asset MonitoringC First Sample RetentionD Supplier Claim ManagementE MISKey Responsibilities1 Coordinate with Logistics to pull the material receipt plan and prepare Monthly , Weekly and daily plan of parts to be inspected.2 Coordinate with Logistics to pull the samples of parts to be inspected.3 Carry out dimensional inspection of parts as per set procedures and SIP.4 Carry out dimensional inspection of parts within fixed lead time.5 Analyze the results to clear / hold or reject the parts in system.6 Maintain the Assets required for carrying out parts inspection.7 Ensure all time availability of QI assets by on time calibration and preventive maintenance in coordination with maintenance team.8 Prepare QI consumables requirement for the year and forward the same to Logistics for arranging the same.9 Maintain 5S in all areas of responsibility.10 Carry out safe operations in area of responsibility.11 Coordinate with Localization team to prepare plan for inspection of localization samples.12 Pull the Localization samples to carry out the planned inspection.13 Publish the results of inspection to all the concerned teams.14 Retain the samples received from Vendors for further reference.15 Maintain the samples with proper packing, identification and inspection results for easy traceability whenever needed.16 Maintain the rejected samples also with proper RCA for rejection.17 Maintain History of all the samples received during Localization process.18 Carry out Supplier claim management process.19 Inform Supplier regarding incoming rejection and the cause of rejection and get acknowledgement from them for the same.20 Coordinate with Logistics, BA and Vendor to either send back the rejection to supplier and get credit note or scrap the rejection at Siemens and get credit note from vendor.21 Complete above mentioned activity in specified Lead Time.22 Maintain track of stock laying in Hold and Rejection Area in system to take timely action.23 Prepare weekly, monthly MIS report for review by management.24 Undergo all the allocated Trainings and implement the learnings.25 Carry out extra duties allocated as a part of Teams such as Emergency Response Team ,First Aid Team, Quality Circles etc.26 Prepare and regularly update/maintain the documents related to QI i.e PD, WI,DOP,HIRAetc27 Ensure correct transactions in system.28 Support and carry activities of colleague for whom you are designated as substitute during his absence or leave.29 Participate in Kaizen project.30 EnMS : Energy management
