The primary aim is to simplify D2C selling to be on par with selling on e-commerce marketplaces. Currently, India's D2C sector is predominantly occupied by venture-funded D2C brands, neglecting the vast potential of the 500k-1M sellers who could engage in D2C but are limited to marketplace selling. The core philosophy revolves around enabling brand owners to concentrate on their products rather than channel optimization. While existing platforms like Shopify focus on storefront workflow management, they fall short in enhancing merchants" selling capabilities. ShopDeck offers a comprehensive software and services package designed to maximize merchant profitability. The all-in-one software stack equips merchants with essential tools for D2C selling, including storefront setup, shipping management, marketing integrations, and communication channels. Additionally, a services layer complements the software stack by amalgamating key roles crucial for any D2C brand's success: Marketing manager, Category manager, Product manager, and Ops manager. By analyzing metrics from these domains, ShopDeck optimizes strategies to bolster merchant profitability. The ultimate goal is to transform the services layer into a product that sets a new standard for storefront software functionality. With an annual recurring revenue of approximately $4.5M and a successful fundraising round led by prominent investors such as Bessemer Venture Partners, Elevation Capital, General Catalyst, and Chiratae Ventures, ShopDeck is positioned for substantial growth. The Growth Lead role at ShopDeck entails spearheading D2C sales for over 15 first-time online brands, with a sharp focus on profitability and scalability. This pivotal position involves making critical business decisions and implementing strategies across various domains like website optimization, marketing, design, and growth initiatives tailored for D2C partners. The Growth Lead operates as a business owner for each assigned brand, driving strategic choices and overseeing end-to-end execution.
