Group Manager- Contracting

About the Role
We are hiring a Group Manager – Contracting & Sourcing with strong expertise in contract lifecycle management (70%) and hands-on exposure to strategic sourcing (30%). This role involves leading a contracting team, driving negotiation excellence, strengthening governance, and supporting sourcing initiatives across key categories.If you are detail-oriented, commercially sharp, and experienced in handling complex contracts, this role is ideal for you.⸻Key ResponsibilitiesContracting (Major – 70%) • Lead contract drafting, redlining, negotiations, renewals, and amendments. • Ensure compliance with legal, commercial, and regulatory requirements. • Maintain a centralized contract repository and ensure audit readiness. • Monitor vendor contract obligations and SLA compliance. • Guide and mentor a team of contracting specialists.Sourcing (Minor – 30%) • Support RFP/RFQ processes and supplier evaluations. • Conduct market research and price benchmarking. • Contribute to cost savings and category optimization projects. • Assist in vendor selection and commercial negotiation.Stakeholder Management • Collaborate with legal, finance, operations, and business units. • Act as the escalation point for contracting and sourcing queries. • Build strong internal and external relationships.⸻Key KPIs • Contract TAT & accuracy • Compliance and audit readiness • SLA/vendor performance • Cost savings contribution • Timely execution of sourcing projects⸻What We’re Looking For • 8–12 years of experience in contracting & sourcing (must have strong contracting exposure). • Experience in procurement services, vendor governance, and contract management. • Ability to lead and develop teams. • Strong negotiation, analytical, and stakeholder management skills. • Proficiency in SAP / Ariba / Coupa preferred.⸻Why Join Us? • Opportunity to lead the contracting function end-to-end • Work with cross-functional stakeholders and leadership teams • Fast-paced and growth-focused procurement environment⸻How to ApplySend your resume to: siddharth.sankpal@wns.comSubject Line is must: Group Manager (Contracting & Sourcing)
