Job Description

Major accountabilities:

  • Support the involved functions/stakeholders to coordinate all the transfer/transition related activities from sites/function to GQSI. Establish and regularly monitor the service KPIs and process KQIs inline to Organizational quality requirements to ensure the service delivery targets are on track, else take appropriate actions as applicable.

  • Select, recruit, develop, manage, coach, coordinate and appraise the performance of direct reporting associates and ensure high quality performance management across the assigned team/s Develop talent, implements succession planning and mentor associates for higher responsibilities.

  • Ensure productive and efficient utilization of resources and capacity in support of service deliverables. Drive innovation and entrepreneurial mind set to ensure team members are fully motivated, challenged, and engaged on delivering high quality work to achieve GQS and Sandoz objectives.

  • Define strategic pillars and create a multi-year GQS Roadmap with clear milestones, KPIs, and ownership. Integrate end-to-end GQS processes and ensure alignment between sites, regions, and global priorities.

  • Introduce data-driven insights and predictive analytics to drive decision-making and proactive risk management.

  • Partner with Digital/IT to enable transformation (automation, digital QMS, AI-led analytics).

  • Build organizational maturity in areas such as data analytics, regulatory intelligence, and digital quality systems.

  • Lead change management for digital adoption and process harmonization.

Minimum Requirements:

Degree in Science, Life Sciences, Pharmacy or Medicine. Advanced degree desirable.

Exposure to Business Strategy, Operational Excellence, or Digital Transformation programs highly desirable.
Work Experience:

  • 12–15 years of progressive experience in Strategy or Operations within the pharmaceutical or biopharma industry.

  • Proven experience in leading strategic initiatives, governance frameworks, and transformation programs across global functions.

  • Strategic mindset, cross-functional leadership, stakeholder influence, analytical and data-driven approach, operational excellence, and strong communication and change management skills.

  • Minimum 8 years of People Management or similar experience. In-depth GxP knowledge, Quality Risk Management, broad IT knowledge, continuous improvement.

  • Delivers training to maintain state-of-the-art knowledge.

  • Superior problem solving, decision making, investigation and planning skills as appropriate. Provides pragmatic solutions to ensure compliance with all regulations.

  • Experience of working closely with the global stakeholders, negotiation skills. Project management skills.

  • Thought leadership on building capabilities and capacities to align
