Group Lead – CDMO

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee process development, technology transfer, and scale-up projects for CDMO clients.
• Manage a team of chemists/engineers, mentoring and fostering collaboration and technical excellence.
• Drive optimization of chemical processes for yield, purity, cost-effectiveness, and scalability.
• Collaborate with QA/QC, regulatory, manufacturing, and client teams to ensure smooth project execution.
• Ensure strict compliance with GMP, GLP, EHS, and other regulatory standards.
• Engage in client interactions, technical discussions, project reporting, and presentations.
• Identify and implement process improvements, innovations, and new technologies.
• Support business development and feasibility assessment for new projects or products.
  

Key Skills & Competencies

• Strong expertise in API / specialty chemical synthesis and process chemistry.
• Hands-on experience with lab-to-pilot scale-up, process optimization, and technology transfer.
• Knowledge of GMP, regulatory requirements, and CDMO operations.
• Proven experience in leading R&D teams and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to deliver projects on-time, on-quality, and cost-effectively.
