Job Description

High level Role : Guiding, designing and getting project certified for green building certification primarily for India and Middle East Clients/Projects Detailed JD : 1. Strategy and Planning a. Advising client on suitable green building rating system (e.g. LEED, IGBC, GRIHA, WELL etc.) b. Set goals and benchmarks aligned with certification requirement c. Identify applicable credits/points based on building type/location/client’s requirement 2. Design: a. Integrate sustainable design features like passive ventilation, daylighting, energy-efficient HVAC, and green materials. b. Coordinate energy modeling, water balance studies, and daylight simulations c. Work with architects, MEP engineers and contractors to ensure compliance with green criteria. 3. Documentation: a. Lead, prepare and submit necessary documents to the certification body b. Maintain clear tracking of credits, performance data etc. c. Ensure timely and accurate submissions 4. Certification: a. Serve as the main point of contact with the authority b. Facilitate final review and certification process Skills Required : 1. Deep understanding, technical knowledge and experience of sustainability and green building certification 2. Analytical and research skills 3. Project Management: creating project plan, tracking and meeting deadlines, collaboration with the team 4. Proposal/report writing 5. Entrepreneurial mindset to take initiatives, be solution-oriented and comfortable with ambiguity. 6. Support (or lead) outreach, lead generation and developing pitch. Show more Show less
