About the Role

The Graphic Designer will be responsible for creating compelling visual content that supports Raahgiri Foundation's mission of promoting sustainable urban mobility and community engagement. You will work closely with the communications and program teams to design materials for campaigns, events, and reports, helping to tell the story of our work in a powerful and accessible way.

Key Responsibilities

1. Visual Communication & Branding

○      Develop visual concepts and designs for all print and digital media, ensuring consistency with brand guidelines.

○      Create infographics, presentations, and other visual assets that communicate complex ideas clearly.

1. Campaign & Event Collateral

○      Design materials for large-scale public campaigns and events, including posters, banners, social media graphics, and event signage.

○      Work with the team to create engaging visuals for public awareness campaigns aimed at diverse audiences, including children, youth, and vulnerable road users.

1. Content & Storytelling

○      Transform research data and reports into visually engaging and easy-to-understand infographics and charts.

○      Support the creation of visual narratives for success stories, case studies, and public-facing reports.

1. Digital & Social Media

○      Create dynamic content for social media platforms (static images, short animations, GIFs) to drive engagement and amplify key messages.

○      Assist in maintaining and updating the organization's website with new visual content.

1. Photography & Videography

○      Help capture and edit photos and videos from events and projects to build a rich visual library.

○      Work with external photographers and videographers as needed.

Qualifications

1. Bachelor's degree or diploma in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
2. Minimum of 3 years of professional experience as a graphic designer, preferably with a focus on social impact or urban development.
3. Proven experience in creating successful visual campaigns for diverse audiences.
4. Proficiency in graphic design software, including Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), Canva and other relevant tools.
5. Strong understanding of design principles, typography, color theory, and layout.
6. Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.
7. Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
8. Fluency in Hindi and English is a must.

Preferred Qualifications

●      Experience in motion graphics or video editing.

●      Familiarity with urban mobility, road safety, or public health campaigns.

●      A portfolio that demonstrates a range of creative and impactful design work.
