About the Role:

Raahgiri Foundation seeks a dynamic and detail-oriented Senior Project Associate to support our Cities and Urban Landscape initiatives. This role is ideal for a professional with a passion for creating people-centered urban spaces and a strong understanding of project coordination. You will contribute to the development and implementation of projects focused on complete streets and sustainable urban design.

Responsibilities:

●      Support the development and execution of urban landscape and complete streets projects, ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets.

●      Conduct site visits and gather data to inform project planning and design.

●      Assist in the preparation of design concepts, presentations, and reports related to complete street projects.

●      Coordinate with stakeholders, including government agencies, community groups, and consultants, to ensure effective project implementation.

●      Assist in organizing and facilitating community consultations and workshops to gather valuable feedback.

●      Conduct research on best practices in urban landscape design and complete streets, supporting project development.

●      Collect and analyze data to evaluate project outcomes and inform future initiatives.

●      Prepare project documentation, progress reports, and presentations.

●      Assist with the logistical coordination of project-related events and activities.

Qualifications:

●      Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Urban Planning, Urban Design, Landscape Architecture, or a related field.

●      Minimum 3 years of professional experience in urban planning, landscape design, or project coordination.

●      Solid understanding of urban planning principles and sustainable development practices.

●      Strong organizational and project management skills.

●      Excellent communication, interpersonal, and collaboration skills.

●      Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). 

●      Familiarity with design software (AutoCAD, SketchUp, GIS) is desirable.

●      Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

●      Passion for creating vibrant and accessible urban spaces.

Preferred Qualifications:

●      Experience working with government agencies and NGOs.

●      Experience in conducting site audits and surveys.

●      Knowledge of complete streets design principles.
