About the role

The ideal candidate will have strong creative skills and a portfolio of professional work which demonstrates their passion for illustrative design and typography. This candidate will have experience in working with numerous different design platforms such as digital and print forms, and be comfortable working closely with the development team of FACT Software to improve the software’s overall design & appearance.

Responsibilities will vary and evolve over time, but core duties will include:

• Create compelling and effective logos, designs, print and digital media
• Establishing and enforcing design guidelines, standards, and best practices for the FACT ERP.NG, our main product
• Improving the UX and general design aesthetics of FACT ERP.NG via feedback to the R&D team to improve the software aesthetic & design
• Maintain awareness of current industry and technology standards, social media, competitive landscape and market trends
• Collaborate with the team to ensure consistency of designs across various media outlets

Who we’re looking for

• A strong portfolio of work which demonstrates creative design thinking and functionality
• All-rounder who can take on new challenges and tasks, and go outside of their comfort zone
• Ability to work independently, set realistic goals and adjust in the face of unforeseen circumstances
• Professional approach to time, costs and deadlines and experience working with distributed, global teams
• Front-end development web programming languages such as HTML/CSS/JS & JQuery
• Graphic design software such as Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe InDesign etc.

Basic Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design or related field
• 2-4 years of experience in graphic design
• Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite
• Ideally proficient in WiX and Figma
• Strong communication, conceptual thinking, typography skills and design skills
• Portfolio of work
• Experience with web design & familiarity with WiX

Role details

• Compensation

  : Compensation will range from ₹3,60,000-4,50,000 depending on candidate experience.

• Location

  : We require candidates to work onsite at our Indian headquarters in Kolkata.

• Start date

  : We’d like a candidate to start as soon as possible after receiving an offer.
