Government Tender Executive

MEPF, Solar, Electrical, and Fire Safety projects

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify & Analyze Tenders:

  • Monitor

    GeM, CPPP, Smart City, and PSU

    portals daily to identify relevant tenders that align with company capabilities.
  • Prepare Tender Documentation:

  • Coordinate internally with Estimation, Design, Purchase, Finance, and Legal teams to prepare accurate technical and financial bids.
  • Ensure 100% Compliance:

  • Review eligibility criteria, documentation, and technical specifications to ensure each submission meets all requirements.
  • Pricing & Margin Management:

  • Collaborate with Estimation and Management to prepare competitive pricing that safeguards a

    minimum 30% gross profit margin

  • Vendor Registration & Empanelment:

  • Maintain updated company profiles on GeM and e-procurement portals; manage empanelment and renewals with departments and PSUs.
  • Tender Tracking & MIS:

  • Maintain a structured tracker of tenders (submitted / won / lost / under process) and submit weekly performance reports.
  • Negotiation & Coordination:

  • Follow up with government departments for tender clarifications, bid results, and post-award documentation like POs, BGs, and LoAs.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration:

  • Work closely with Sales, Operations, and Finance to ensure seamless project handover and billing after order confirmation.

Qualifications & Skills

Education:

  • Graduate in Engineering / Business / Commerce.
  • MBA or Diploma in Tender Management preferred.

Experience:

  • 3–5 years in

    GeM bidding / Government tendering / E-procurement

    , preferably in

    MEP, Electrical, Fire, or Solar industries

    .

Technical Skills:

  • Strong knowledge of

    GeM, CPPP, NIC, Smart City portals, and PSU tender systems

    .
  • Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Understanding of costing, taxation, and BG/EMD procedures.

Soft Skills:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication.
  • Strong analytical, coordination, and follow-up skills.
  • Ethical, disciplined, and detail-oriented working style.
