Role Overview

This role involves contributing end-to-end to the development of cloud-native backend services using Golang. The engineer will be part of a self-organized agile team, responsible for designing, building, deploying, and maintaining backend features with a focus on performance, reliability, and scalability. The role includes hands-on development, operational support, and continuous improvement of backend systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate within an agile team to build, own, and operate backend microservices
• Design and implement RESTful APIs and backend components using Golang
• Ensure service reliability through monitoring, alerting, metrics, logging, and participation in on-call rotations
• Translate product requirements into robust, maintainable, and scalable code
• Identify and implement improvements for performance, scalability, and maintainability
• Troubleshoot complex issues related to code, infrastructure, and third-party integrations

Skills and Qualification

• Strong proficiency in Go (Golang)
• Expertise in RESTful API design
• Experience building cloud-native, web-scale backend services on AWS
• Solid understanding of microservices architecture and software design patterns
• Familiarity with relational databases (MySQL, MSSQL) and SQL optimization
• Experience working in Agile (Scrum/Kanban) teams
• Excellent debugging, problem-solving, and communication skills

Good to Have

• Hands-on with AWS services (EC2, RDS, Lambda, API Gateway)
• Knowledge of containerization & orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions)
