GM Asset Management for Mining

As the GM Asset Management, your role involves leading the strategic direction for Operation and Maintenance within the Group, ensuring commercial performance, technology adoption, and organizational capability building. Your key responsibilities include: - Co-developing strategic and operational approaches for entities" operation and maintenance, including forming strategic partnerships with vendors. - Advising on customer negotiations, mine planning, and due diligence for acquisitions or partnerships. - Collaborating with the Group Leadership Team to optimize capital and operational expenditure for Operation and Maintenance. - Setting standards for operation, repair, and maintenance to comply with regulations and uphold safety. - Reviewing and advising on vendors" performance and strategic partnerships for maximum yield. - Working on ESG progress, particularly emission and waste management. - Reviewing entities" operation and maintenance performance and suggesting improvements. - Leading operational and long-term planning with a focus on growth and performance. - Troubleshooting complex operational issues and implementing best practices for efficiency. - Contributing to business growth opportunities and strategic partnerships. - Developing relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including senior leaders and key accounts. - Supporting ESG progress and competency building within the Group. Qualifications and Experience: - Qualifications in Engineering/Technology (Master's in Engineering with MBA preferred). - Proven experience in operation and maintenance leadership with a strong safety and commercial track record. - Experience in leading strategic initiatives and technology-led projects. - Familiarity with ESG initiatives, particularly in carbon emission and waste management. - Leadership experience in the mining industry is essential. - Strong analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills. - Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment. - Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
