Job Description

As a Global Mobility Associate at the cross-cultural Global Mobility team, your role involves supporting Work Permit Visa application processes, Assignment Management activities, preparing cost estimates, and related compliance actions. Your key responsibilities include: - Acting as a point of contact for travelers to guide and provide support for applying for US Work visas (L-1 Blanket and L-1 Non-Blanket) and/or Canada ICT applications. - Preparing and filing Work visa applications in-house (L-1 Blanket, Canada ICT applications) and guiding employees throughout the visa application process. - Conducting orientation sessions for employees appearing for US visa interviews. - Liaising with external counsel and internal stakeholders on US/Canada work visa applications. - Tracking and maintaining data and documentation for visa applications and assignments. - Serving as the Global Mobility point of contact for supporting all assignments and travelers from the region before and after the assignment. - Enhancing travelers" experience through consistent processes and policy treatment, providing a supportive, positive, and seamless end-to-end experience. - Executing assignment & Immigration specific activities on a day-to-day basis to support the traveler. - Collaborating with other Global Mobility Operations team members to ensure processes are executed and issues resolved in a timely manner. - Ensuring a full understanding of the issue, compliance requirements, and considering the perspectives of all stakeholders when determining/recommending resolution. - Preparing and managing reports. - Coordinating with others in the team, Home and Host Offices, vendors, and internal experts to ensure compliance with internal policies and external requirements (e.g. benefits, tax, local immigration teams). - Ensuring real-time and accurate data entry to enable transparency for team members, offices, and other stakeholders. - Reporting compliance risks and consequences for non-compliance. Qualifications required for this role include: - Minimum 2 years of related experience working within the field of Global Mobility, focusing on the Americas region. - Experience working in a similar corporate set-up supporting the US Immigration process and relocation/transferring of employees. Required Skills: - Expertise on US L-1 Visas and/or Canada Work Permits (ICT applications). - Exceptional organizational skills, including the ability to multitask and balance completion of several competing priorities. - Solid process and project management skills, particularly the ability to manage multiple work streams involving several team members. - Attention to detail and the ability to deliver accurately to tight deadlines. - Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, demanding, changing environment. - Extraordinary written and verbal communication skills. Preferred Skills: - Experience in handling US, Canada visa/Immigration or operational matters. - Experience with Global Mobility data analysis and reporting. - Any relevant certifications in the field of Expatriate management, Global Mobility.,
