Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Order Management Assistant Manager to assess the day-to-day operations of the order management function. This role is responsible for ensuring timely and accurate order processing, team performance, stakeholder coordination, and continuous process improvement. He / She will act as a key liaison between internal teams and external stakeholders to drive service excellence and operational efficiency.

Graduate in Commerce.

MBA/ICWA/CA (Intermediate) a plus

Work Experience

8 to 10 years in Order to Cash process of which 2 to 3 in a Supervisory role. Prior experience in Contracts set-up role is a must. Proficiency in ERP systems and Excel required

SAP ERP experience preferred

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise and guide a team of order management specialists; provide coaching, training, and support to ensure team effectiveness.
  • Monitor daily order flow and ensure timely and accurate order processing in line with company policies and service level agreements (SLAs).
  • Allocate workload across team members and manage priorities in a dynamic environment.
  • Act as a point of escalation for complex order issues, coordinating with sales, logistics, finance, and customer service to resolve promptly.
  • Track and report key performance metrics (e.g., order cycle time, backlog, order accuracy) and drive improvement initiatives.
  • Partners with cross-functional teams (Sales, Finance, IT) streamline processes and enhance customer satisfaction.
  • Ensure compliance with internal controls, audit requirements, and regulatory guidelines related to order fulfillment
  • Identify system/process gaps and contribute to automation or optimization projects (ERP improvements, workflow redesign, etc.)
  • Lead daily/weekly team huddles and represent the team in business reviews or operational meetings.
  • Support hiring, onboarding, and performance management of team members.
  • To ensure that the team is aware and informed about the changes in Org structure, HR Policies, Admin policies, IT Policies etc.
  • Perform back-up duties for Team Leads, as necessary.
