General Manager - Procurement

Job Summary:

We are looking for a seasoned Deputy General Manager – Supply Chain Management to lead and optimize end-to-end supply chain operations for electronics and educational toy products. The role will focus on strategic sourcing, production planning, inventory optimization, quality compliance, and efficient logistics to support scalable growth.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage end-to-end supply chain including procurement, planning, warehousing, and logistics
• Lead sourcing of electronic components, plastics, packaging, and finished goods
• Develop reliable vendor base and manage supplier negotiations and contracts
• Ensure material availability aligned with production and demand forecasts
• Optimize inventory levels, reduce obsolescence, and control costs
• Coordinate with R&D, production, quality, and sales teams
• Ensure compliance with quality, safety, and regulatory standards (BIS, CE, RoHS, etc.)
• Oversee domestic and import logistics, customs clearance, and lead-time management
• Implement ERP-driven planning, MIS, and performance dashboards
• Lead and develop the supply chain and procurement teams

Key Requirements:

• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Engineering, or related field
• 10–15 years of experience in supply chain management, preferably in electronics, toys, or FMCG manufacturing
• Strong knowledge of electronic components, BOM management, and vendor sourcing
• Experience with ERP systems and forecasting tools
• Strong leadership, negotiation, and analytical skills
• Ability to manage fast product cycles and seasonal demand

Preferred Skills:

• Experience in educational toys or consumer electronics supply chains
• Knowledge of import/export regulations and compliance standard

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹60,000.00 - ₹70,000.00 per month
