Job Description

We are seeking an experienced, dynamic, and results-driven General Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our hospitality property. The General Manager will be responsible for ensuring guest satisfaction, optimizing operational efficiency, driving financial performance, and leading a high-performing team across all departments including front office, housekeeping, food & beverage, and maintenance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operational Leadership:
  • Oversee daily operations of the property, ensuring smooth, efficient, and profitable running of all departments.
  • Develop and implement operational policies, SOPs, and best practices.
  • Ensure exceptional guest service standards and consistently high customer satisfaction.
  • Team Management:
  • Recruit, train, mentor, and manage department heads and key staff.
  • Foster a positive work environment focused on teamwork, development, and accountability.
  • Conduct regular performance evaluations and support staff development initiatives.
  • Financial Management:
  • Prepare and manage budgets, forecasts, and financial reports.
  • Monitor and control operational expenses to maximize profitability.
  • Analyze financial data and implement strategies for revenue growth and cost control.
  • Guest Experience & Quality Assurance:
  • Ensure all guest feedback, complaints, and concerns are addressed promptly and professionally.
  • Uphold quality assurance standards and ensure consistent delivery of services.
  • Monitor online reviews and maintain a strong brand reputation.
  • Sales & Marketing Support:
  • Collaborate with the marketing and sales team to drive occupancy, bookings, and brand visibility.
  • Participate in local networking events and build relationships with stakeholders and travel partners.
  • Compliance & Safety:
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, licensing, and legal regulations.
  • Maintain a safe and secure environment for guests and staff.

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or related field (MBA preferred).
  • Minimum of 5–10 years of progressive experience in hotel/hospitality management, with at least 3 years in a senior leadership role.
  • Strong financial acumen and understanding of P&L statements.
  • Excellent interpersonal, leadership, and communication skills.
  • Proven ability to manage diverse teams and drive performance.
  • Familiarity with hotel/property management systems (PMS) and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Flexible schedule and ability to work on weekends/holidays as needed.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹75,000.00 per month
