Job Description

We are seeking a dynamic General Manager to lead our export operations and overall business growth. The role involves managing end-to-end operations from processing, sorting, and grinding to global export, ensuring quality, compliance, and profitability.

Role & responsibilities

Develop and execute export & business growth strategies; identify high-potential markets.
Oversee production, export operations, logistics, and documentation, ensuring compliance with international standards.
Ensure QA/QC, audits, and certifications including BRCGS, FSVP, USFDA, and FDA are maintained for all exports.
Build and maintain strong relationships with overseas buyers, distributors, and trade partners.
Lead, mentor, and manage a high-performing team of export and operations professionals.
Monitor revenue, profitability, pricing, and contracts; manage export finance and forex transactions.
Represent the company in trade fairs, exhibitions, and business forums.

Preferred candidate profile

Bachelors or Masters in Business Management, International Trade, Commerce, or Agriculture.
7+ years experience in export & operations management (spices, pulses, or agro commodities preferred).
Strong knowledge of international trade regulations, logistics, quality standards, and audits (BRCGS, FSVP, USFDA, FDA).
Proven leadership, negotiation, and communication skills.
Based in North Gujarat or willing to relocate.
