Job Description


  • We are Looking for experienced professionals with 6–10 years of experience in business development, operations or center management across education, fitness, or consumer services.
  • You'll lead teams, drive growth, own revenue, and shape the future of chess training in India.

Primary Responsibilities:

1. Strategic Leadership

  • Develop and execute the academy’s long-term vision and annual operational plan.
  • Oversee all departments – Marketing, Sales,operations, sales,HR, and finance.
  • Identify growth opportunities (new locations, online expansions, partnerships, etc.).

2. Operations Management

  • To map and ensure Work flow of each team member is chalked out.
  • To work with the team and process in order to achieve the least attrition.
  • Monitor scheduling, attendance, and punctuality of coaches and students using measurable KPIs and tools.
  • Implement quality control checks on classes and coach performance.

3. Team Management

  • Lead, mentor, and evaluate staff including coaches, sales teams, and support staff.
  • Conduct regular team meetings and reviews.
  • Drive performance through clear KPIs and team accountability.

4. Feedback and Improvement

  • Ensure high student satisfaction through quality training and prompt issue resolution.
  • Monitor student progress and feedback loops (surveys, ratings, etc.).
  • Oversee parent communication and reduce issues 

5. Revenue & Financial Management

  • Own revenue targets and cost efficiency.
  • Weekly review on collections with the top management.
  • Approve spending and vendor contracts in alignment with financial goals.

Customer Success & Community

  • * Maintain ≥90 % parent satisfaction through rapid issue resolution and transparent updates.
  • * Monitor student progress; launch new products based on feedback and market trends.
  • * Build partnerships with schools, tournaments, and sponsors to expand reach.


6. Sales & Marketing Solutions

  • Coordinate with the marketing team to run campaigns, events, and promotions.
  • Improve processes on sales conversion to ensure high conversion %
  • Oversee branding, social media presence, and public representation of the academy.
