About the Role:

General Counsel

Key Responsibilities:

• Serve as the chief legal advisor to the executive team and board of directors.
• Provide expert counsel on corporate, commercial, employment, compliance, and regulatory matters in both the U.S. and India.
• Draft, review, and negotiate complex contracts, agreements, and transactions across jurisdictions.
• Ensure compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and industry standards.
• Manage litigation, disputes, and external legal counsel in the U.S. and India.
• Develop and implement legal policies, procedures, and risk management strategies.
• Stay updated on legislative and regulatory changes affecting the company in both regions.
• Support M&A activities, joint ventures, and strategic partnerships.

Requirements:

• JD or equivalent law degree from a recognized institution; admission to practice law in at least one U.S. state and in India preferred.

• Minimum 10 years of legal experience

  , including significant in-house counsel or law firm experience.
• Proven expertise in

  U.S. and Indian corporate and commercial law

  , with cross-border transaction experience.
• Strong negotiation, communication, and leadership skills.
• Ability to manage complex legal issues and advise senior stakeholders with clarity and confidence.
• Experience working in a fast-paced, global, and tech-driven environment is a plus.
