Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced AI Engineer with strong expertise in Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) and Agentic AI to build an enterprise-grade organizational AI assistant. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience working with large language models, vector databases, agent orchestration frameworks, and scalable deployment pipelines.

Key Responsibilities

• Architect, design, and implement RAG-based AI chatbot for internal organizational use.
• Develop agent workflows for task automation, tool integration, and reasoning-based decision flows.
• Build and optimize document ingestion pipelines, chunking, metadata tagging, and embeddings.
• Integrate vector search engines (ChromaDB / Pinecone / Weaviate / FAISS).
• Implement hybrid retrieval strategies and result reranking.
• Develop backend services & APIs (FastAPI / LangServe / CrewAI / LangChain).
• Deploy and scale LLM applications
• Integrate the bot with internal systems like ERP/CRM, ticketing tools, Slack/Teams, email etc.
• Ensure performance, security, and governance (PII masking, access control, guardrails).
• Build evaluation frameworks, analytics, and feedback loops for continuous improvement.
• Work cross-functionally with data engineering, product, and business teams.

Required Skills

• Strong experience building RAG pipelines and vector-based retrieval.
• Hands-on experience with frameworks like LangChain, CrewAI, LlamaIndex, Swarm.
• Familiarity with LangSmith (or equivalent observability/evaluation tooling) for tracing, monitoring, and evaluating LLM/agent workloads.
• Strong Python development & backend engineering skills.
• Experience working with LLM APIs (OpenAI, Claude, Groq, Gemini, Llama).
• Experience with Vector DBs (Pinecone / Chroma / Weaviate / FAISS).
• Experience deploying scalable models.
• Strong understanding of prompt engineering and LLM guardrails.

Preferred Skills

• Experience building enterprise chatbots or AI copilots.
• Knowledge of multi-agent architectures and tool execution frameworks.
• Experience with SQL/non-SQL databases and analytics pipelines.
• Familiarity with information security, RBAC, and compliance.
• Experience with fine-tuning or parameter-efficient training.
