Perform precise boring, reaming, drilling, and counter boring of components to tight tolerances (typically within 5-10 microns). Select appropriate tools, speeds, and feeds based on material and finish requirements. Conduct in-process checks using precision instruments (micrometers, bore gauges, height gauges, dial indicators). Maintain proper documentation of dimensional inspection reports. Coordinate with Tool Designers and CNC programmers for tooling corrections or improvements. Follow safety protocols and ensure housekeeping around the machine. Perform routine preventive maintenance on jig boring machines. Collaborate with QC/QA teams for part approval and continuous improvement. Preferred candidate profile Proficient in Jig Boring Machine operations (mechanical or CNC-type). Sound knowledge of materials: tool steel, hardened steel, aluminium. Able to work with tight tolerances (0.005 mm). Skilled in using precision instruments. Basic knowledge of CNC jig boring or coordinate boring (if applicable). Team player with good communication skills.

• B.Tech (Mechanical). • Must required GD&T and detaild drawing study. • Knowldge in CNC milling and CNC turning machines. • Minimum of 5 years' experience in cost estimation within the manufacturing industry.

Role & responsibilities 1. Expertise in Auto cad, familiar with process documentation and machining process. 2. Drawing preparation, clear knowledge on GDnT concept and implementation. 3. Design, plan and execute experiments on pilot scale equipments. 4. Improve continually, existing operations, for increased quality, productivity and cost saving. 5. Maintaining process documentation, revision status, customer drawings etc in line with ISO requirements. 6. Support maintenance program, where necessary, preventive maintenance checks. 7. Cross functional work with R&D team, communicating effectively to ensure efficient scale up of the process. 8. Open to learn QC tools, deciding process flow, modeling and programming 9. Investigate operational problems and report and recommend solutions. 10. Practice safety and continues improvement

-Create 2D/3D designs of jigs, fixtures, dies, and progressive tools using CAD software. -Ensure designs meet functional requirements. -Get tools manufactured as per design through vendors or internal tool room. -Monitor quality and timeline.

Strong Mechanical Design Engineer Qualification: B.E/M.Tech in Mechanical Experience: 3 to 8Years Skills: Strong in Machine Design / R&D Design experience Capable to own the project delivery completely (from concept to release) Good Knowledge on Material Selection, Machining and Fabrication process and post processing operations. Thorough knowledge in calculations to define structures/loads, choose the right OEMs and its accessories in the market. Example Linear Guides, Motors, gearbox, bearings, etc. Pro-efficient in Sheet metal design Good knowledge on using sheet metal applications wherever necessary. Pro-efficient in creating manufacturing drawings, defining tolerances with GD&T Pro-efficient in UG-NX is a must Knowledge in Structural Analysis Awareness on Manufacturing techniques Good Presentation and Negotiation Skills Semiconductor & Special Purpose Machine Industry background is added advantage
