Role Overview

Google Cloud Platform (GCP)

Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, and deploy scalable data pipelines and analytics platforms using GCP tools like BigQuery, Dataflow, Dataproc, Data Fusion, and Cloud SQL.
• Implement and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform and CI/CD pipelines using Tekton.
• Develop robust APIs using Python, Java, and Spring Boot, and deliver frontend interfaces using Angular, React, or Vue.
• Build and support data integration workflows using Airflow, PySpark, and PostgreSQL.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment, leveraging Jira, paired programming, and TDD.
• Ensure cloud deployments are secure, scalable, and performant on GCP.
• Mentor team members and promote continuous learning, clean code practices, and Agile principles.

Experience

• 5+ years in software/data engineering
• Minimum 1 year in GCP-based deployment and cloud architecture
  

Education

• Bachelor’s or Master’s in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical discipline
