Role Overview -

Functional Analyst – Database & Applications

You will work closely with clients, collaborate with developers, and ensure that our solutions are both technically robust and aligned with business objectives.


Key Responsibilities -

  • Business Analysis & Requirement Gathering

  • Engage with clients to understand business needs and translate them into functional and technical specifications.
  • Prepare detailed documentation for internal teams and client communication.


  • Database Design & Administration

  • Design, implement, and manage relational and non-relational databases (

    PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Redis

    ).
  • Develop and optimize stored procedures, triggers, and views.
  • Ensure database security, performance tuning, and integrity.


  • Application & Reporting Support

  • Develop reports using 

    Crystal Reports

     or similar tools.
  • Work with multiple data formats to support business reporting needs.
  • Support integration of databases with back-end and front-end applications.


  • Collaboration & Solution Delivery

  • Work closely with developers and stakeholders to ensure solutions meet business goals.
  • Provide input on workflows, data structures, and reporting for enterprise applications.



Qualifications & Skills -

  • 2-3 years of relevant experience

     in business analysis and database/application management.
  • Strong knowledge of 

    SQL

     and relational database concepts.
  • Hands-on experience with 

    PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Redis

    .
  • Solid understanding of 

    database design

     (centralized, decentralized, normalized, flat).
  • Familiarity with 

    back-end and front-end development principles

    .
  • Practical experience with 

    Crystal Reports

     or equivalent reporting tools.
  • Strong knowledge of 

    enterprise applications

     and process flows.
  • Excellent 

    analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills

    .
  • Strong 

    documentation skills

    .
  • Bachelor’s degree in 

    Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field

    .
