Role Overview - We are seeking a Functional Analyst – Database & Applications with 2-3 years of experience who can bridge the gap between business analysis and database/application design . This role requires a strong mix of analytical skills to capture business requirements and technical expertise to design, manage, and maintain databases and reporting systems. You will work closely with clients, collaborate with developers, and ensure that our solutions are both technically robust and aligned with business objectives. Key Responsibilities - Business Analysis & Requirement Gathering Engage with clients to understand business needs and translate them into functional and technical specifications. Prepare detailed documentation for internal teams and client communication. Database Design & Administration Design, implement, and manage relational and non-relational databases ( PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Redis ). Develop and optimize stored procedures, triggers, and views. Ensure database security, performance tuning, and integrity. Application & Reporting Support Develop reports using Crystal Reports or similar tools. Work with multiple data formats to support business reporting needs. Support integration of databases with back-end and front-end applications. Collaboration & Solution Delivery Work closely with developers and stakeholders to ensure solutions meet business goals. Provide input on workflows, data structures, and reporting for enterprise applications. Qualifications & Skills - 2-3 years of relevant experience in business analysis and database/application management. Strong knowledge of SQL and relational database concepts. Hands-on experience with PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Redis . Solid understanding of database design (centralized, decentralized, normalized, flat). Familiarity with back-end and front-end development principles . Practical experience with Crystal Reports or equivalent reporting tools. Strong knowledge of enterprise applications and process flows. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills . Strong documentation skills .
