Role Description
This is a full-time remote role for a Full Stack UI Developer Intern at CraticAI. The intern will be responsible for developing user interfaces for web applications, implementing design principles, and collaborating with backend developers. Daily tasks include coding, testing, and debugging interfaces to enhance user experience and overall functionality.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in UI development, design principles, and collaboration with backend developers
- Experience with front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and responsive design
- Knowledge of frameworks like React, Angular, or Vue.js
- Understanding of RESTful APIs and integration with backend services
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and in a remote team environment
- Pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
UI Development
- Assist in creating responsive, interactive, and visually appealing user interfaces for web applications using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Work with React, Angular, or other front-end libraries/frameworks to develop reusable components that enhance user experience.
- Ensure cross-browser compatibility and optimize UI performance for different devices and platforms.
- Collaborate with UI/UX designers to bring designs to life while ensuring usability and functionality.
- Back-End Development:
- Collaborate in building and maintaining APIs (RESTful or GraphQL) to connect front-end applications to server-side logic.
- Assist in managing databases by writing queries, integrating with back-end services, and ensuring seamless data flow.
- Work with server-side technologies such as Node.js, Express, or similar frameworks to build scalable applications.
Collaborative Development
- Participate in code reviews, providing feedback to peers and ensuring high code quality.
- Attend daily standups, sprint planning, and other team meetings to track progress and resolve any blockers.
- Work closely with senior developers and product managers to align with project goals and deadlines.
- Troubleshoot and debug issues within the front-end and back-end systems.
- Continuous Learning & Improvement:
- Stay updated with the latest web development trends and technologies in full-stack development.
- Apply best practices in both front-end and back-end development to improve overall application quality.
- Take ownership of small tasks or features, delivering them with attention to detail and in accordance with team expectations.
Documentation
- Document code and technical processes clearly to ensure easy maintainability and knowledge sharing within the team.
Back-End Development
