• What You’ll Do
• Own the full lifecycle of sensor‑rich IoT devices — architecture, component selection, rapid prototyping, validation, certification, and pilot production.
• Integrate and calibrate environmental sensors (pH, dissolved‑O₂, turbidity/optical density, temperature, CO₂, PAR) and design low‑noise analog front‑ends.
• Design electronics: schematics, multilayer PCBs, low‑power and mixed‑voltage circuits; run DFM/DFT and bring‑up.
• Develop embedded firmware (C/C++ or Rust) including drivers, OTA updates, secure boot, and power‑management features.
• Prototype, test, and certify hardware to functional, EMI/EMC, safety (CE/FCC/LVD), and IP‑rating requirements.
• Collaborate with mechanical designers on enclosures, waterproofing, thermal management, and long‑term bio‑fouling mitigation.
• (Nice to have) Connect devices to AWS IoT / Azure IoT Hub / custom back‑ends and build dashboards (Grafana, Node‑RED).

Requirements (Must‑Haves)

• Minimum 2 years of professional experience in embedded systems development.
• B.E./B‑Tech in ECE, EE, CSE, or related field.
• 2+ years shipping commercial embedded products from prototype to field deployment.
• Proven hands‑on work with sensor integration and calibration (provide data, photos, or repo links).
• MCU expertise: ESP32‑S3, STM32, nRF52, or similar.
• Strong analog/digital design & multilayer PCB Designing.
• Experience with wireless protocols and secure OTA updates.
• Comfort working solo, communicating status, and writing clear build/test documentation.

Nice to Have

• AWS IoT / Azure IoT Core / GCP IoT integrations, Grafana dashboards.
• EMC pre‑compliance testing, CE/FCC filing experience.
• Experience designing IP‑65/66 enclosures or anti‑fouling optical windows.

Soft Skills

• Ownership mindset — drive schedules, surface risks early, and unblock issues independently.
• Clear, concise communicator who documents designs and mentors interns/juniors.

Compensation & Benefits
