Job Description

Job Description – Full-Stack Developer

Position: Senior Full-Stack Developer – FinTech / WealthTech (Remote or Calcutta based)

We are looking for a strong full-stack developer who can own the entire product in the first 6-12 months and later lead a small team.

Responsibilities

Build and own the complete web application from scratch (you’ll be the first technical hire or part of a 2-person team)
Design and implement the financial survey, scoring logic, recommendation engine, and scenario modeling
Create stunning, interactive dashboards with charts (Chart.js, Recharts, or ApexCharts)
Ensure pixel-perfect, mobile-first, fast-loading UI
Set up secure authentication, user data handling, and basic admin panel
Deploy, monitor, and iterate fast based on user feedback

Must-Have Technical Skills Frontend (60% of the work)

React.js + Next.js 14/15 (App Router) – mandatory
TypeScript – mandatory
Tailwind CSS (we want fast, beautiful, modern design)
State management: Zustand or Redux Toolkit
Data visualization: Chart.js, Recharts, or ApexCharts (experience building financial dashboards is a big plus)
Framer Motion or similar for smooth animations
Experience making web apps feel native (PWA, smooth transitions, etc.)

Backend (30% of the work)

Node.js + TypeScript
Next.js API routes + Server Actions (we will start serverless)
PostgreSQL (Supabase or Neon or AWS RDS)
Authentication: NextAuth.js or Clerk or Supabase Auth
Basic understanding of financial calculations (CAGR, XIRR, Monte Carlo is a plus)

DevOps & Tools (10%)

Vercel (primary deployment)
Git + GitHub
Basic CI/CD understanding

Big Advantages

Previous experience in FinTech, WealthTech, or Banking projects
Built financial calculators, risk profilers, or robo-advisors before
Designed beautiful dashboard-heavy products
Experience with React Native / Expo (for future mobile app)
Worked with finance APIs (Plaid, Zerodha, Groww, YAP, etc.)

Soft Requirements

4+ years of full-stack experience
Can work independently, ship fast, and cares deeply about UX
Excellent communication – you will work directly with the founder(s)
Available full-time or near full-time

Compensation

Highly competitive salary

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹61,245.79 per month
