Role

Serenica AI is seeking a part-time, remote Frontend Software Engineer Intern based in India. This internship offers an opportunity to gain hands-on experience in frontend development within a health technology startup environment. The key responsibilities are:

• Assist in the development and maintenance of the frontend of our mobile application
• Collaborate with backend developers to support API integration
• Contribute to delivering a consistent and user-friendly interface
• Write clean, maintainable code under the guidance of senior engineers
• Support testing and debugging efforts to ensure software quality
• Participate in code reviews and team meetings to learn and contribute to ongoing projects

This internship is educational and designed to provide practical experience in software development. Candidates should have a foundational understanding of frontend technologies and a willingness to learn in a collaborative, remote-first environment.

University

Due to exceptional demand for this role, we unfortunately are only considering applicants studying at IIT (Indian Institute of Technology) currently for their undergraduate studies. However, we may broaden scope in the future with regard to the university requirement.

Qualifications

• Working knowledge of React Native or comparable hybrid app JS-based frameworks
• Solid foundation in Computer Science
• Demonstrable experience with frontend development from university projects
• Sufficient competency in UI/UX design
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to work independently and remotely
