Role Overview We seek a talented Frontend Engineer with deep expertise in React.js to design and implement robust, maintainable, and performant user interfaces. You will collaborate closely with backend engineers, designers, and product managers to ship production-grade features. Responsibilities Develop responsive, modular, and reusable React components for complex fintech applications. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into technical specifications. Optimize frontend performance through efficient state management, memoization, lazy loading, and code splitting. Write clean, testable code and maintain high standards for unit and integration testing. Participate in code reviews and contribute to improving engineering best practices. Troubleshoot and resolve bugs, ensuring a smooth user experience in production environments. Stay updated on emerging frontend technologies and contribute ideas to improve product quality. Must-Have Skills and Experience React.js: Minimum 3 years of professional experience with functional components, hooks, context API. JavaScript (ES6+): Strong fundamentals including closures, async/await, promises, event loop, hoisting, prototypal inheritance. TypeScript: Production-level experience for safer and scalable codebases. State Management: Hands-on experience with Redux (including redux-saga/redux-thunk) or Zustand for global state management. Styling: Experience with Tailwind CSS, CSS-in-JS, or equivalent; strong grasp of responsive and mobile-first design. Build Tools: Familiarity with Webpack, Babel, ESLint, Prettier, and related frontend tooling. Testing: Ability to write tests using Jest, React Testing Library, or equivalent frameworks. Performance: Knowledge of React performance optimization techniques such as memoization, lazy loading, and minimizing re-renders. Version Control: Proficient in Git workflows and collaborative development. Communication: Clear and effective communication skills in a collaborative environment. Preferred (Bonus) Skills Experience with Next.js (SSR, SSG) and server-side rendering concepts. Working knowledge of WebSockets or real-time frontend data handling. Familiarity with design systems and component libraries (Material-UI, Chakra UI, etc.). Understanding of RESTful APIs and frontend-backend integration. Basic knowledge of CI/CD and deployment pipelines for frontend applications.
