Location: The Nattika Beach Ayurveda Resort, Thrissur, Kerala
Reporting to: General Manager

Position Overview

The Front Office Manager plays a pivotal role in ensuring exceptional guest experiences at The Nattika Beach Ayurveda Resort. As the first point of contact for our guests, the Front Office Manager leads a team dedicated to providing a seamless check-in and check-out process, handling guest inquiries, and maintaining the resort's high standards of service. This position is integral to upholding the brand's reputation as the flagship property of Nattika Ayurveda Retreats.

Key Responsibilities

Guest Services

  • Oversee all front office operations, including reception, concierge, and guest services.
  • Ensure a smooth and welcoming check-in and check-out process.
  • Handle guest complaints and resolve issues efficiently while maintaining professionalism and empathy.
  • Anticipate guest needs and deliver personalized experiences.

Team Management

  • Supervise and lead the front office team, including recruitment, training, and performance evaluation.
  • Foster a culture of hospitality, teamwork, and service excellence.
  • Develop and maintain staff schedules to ensure optimal coverage.

Operational Excellence

  • Ensure the front desk and lobby area maintain a clean, organized, and inviting appearance.
  • Manage the reservation system to optimize room occupancy and revenue.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth communication and guest satisfaction.
  • Monitor and analyze guest feedback to implement service improvements.

Financial Management

  • Oversee the front office budget and control costs while maintaining service quality.
  • Handle billing, payments, and cash handling processes in coordination with the finance department.
  • Ensure compliance with all financial procedures and standards.

Brand Representation

  • Act as an ambassador for The Nattika Beach Ayurveda Resort, embodying its values and commitment to holistic well-being.
  • Promote Ayurveda and wellness practices as part of the guest experience.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Hotel Management or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in front office operations, with at least 2 years in a managerial role.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with fluency in English; knowledge of additional languages (German or French) is a plus.
  • Proficient in hotel management software and reservation systems.
  • Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.
  • A customer-focused mindset with the ability to handle pressure gracefully.
  • Knowledge or experience in Ayurveda or wellness retreats is highly desirable.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
