Job Description

Key Responsibilities

1. Operational Management & Guest Experience

  • Service Excellence: Lead by example to ensure consistent delivery of world-class guest service during check-in, check-out, and throughout the guest stay. Handle escalated guest complaints swiftly and effectively to ensure resolution and guest recovery.
  • Flow Management: Monitor and manage the flow of guests and staff during peak periods to minimize waiting times and maximize efficiency.
  • Cash Handling & Night Audit: Oversee daily front office financial operations, including cash handling procedures, credit card authorization, and coordination with the Night Audit team to ensure accuracy.
  • Technology: Ensure proper utilization and maintenance of the Property Management System (PMS) and other front office technology.

2. Team Leadership & Development

  • Training & Coaching: Recruit, train, mentor, and motivate the Front Office team (Supervisors, Guest Service Agents, Concierge, etc.). Conduct regular performance evaluations.
  • Scheduling: Prepare efficient departmental schedules to ensure adequate coverage while managing labor costs.
  • Discipline: Enforce hotel policies, standards, and procedures, addressing disciplinary matters promptly and fairly.

3. Strategic & Financial Management

  • Revenue Generation: Drive upselling efforts (e.g., room upgrades, premium services) to maximize room revenue.
  • Budget: Assist in preparing and managing the departmental budget, controlling expenses, and optimizing operational costs.
  • Communication: Maintain strong communication with Housekeeping, Sales, and Maintenance departments to ensure smooth operations and guest satisfaction.

Required Qualifications & Skills

Education : Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Hospitality Management, Hotel Administration, or a related field.

Experience : Minimum 10 + years of progressive experience in the Front Office/Rooms Division, with at least 4 years in management role within a quality hotel or resort.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹45,000.00 - ₹65,000.00 per month
