Job Description

Role Overview: You will be responsible for leading and managing front office operations of the hotel to deliver seamless customer service, maximize revenues, and enhance guest satisfaction within corporate guidelines and standards. Key Responsibilities: - Monitor room allocations based on guest preferences and resolve issues like overbooking or duplicate reservations with reservations team. - Participate in strategy meetings and develop action plans to increase revenues through upselling and cost control strategies. Prepare expense and revenue budgets and propose budgets for the current year. - Coordinate with housekeeping to ensure awareness of arrival and departure patterns and busy movements for future periods. - Conduct process audits of SOPs to maintain standards and make necessary changes for better results or guest satisfaction with approval from GMs if required. - Set KRAs, analyze team performance, and provide input for training programs. - Review guest interactions through random audits and customer feedback analysis. - Conduct meetings with Accommodations Team to discuss and resolve issues related to product, process, and people. Address gaps in guest complaint handling. - Ensure compliance with audit norms, conduct regular audits, and take corrective actions based on findings. Review records and log books for compliance. - Plan and organize VIP movements and stays within the hotel. Qualification Required: - Diploma/Degree in Hotel Management in Hospitality/Tourism/Hotel Management - 7-8 years of experience - Proficiency in Front Office procedural knowledge, room inventory management, revenue management, reservations procedures, financial acumen, and cross-functional knowledge - Skills in Result Orientation, Customer Focus, Interpersonal Skills, People Management, and Decision Making Additional Details: Indian Hotels Company Limited (IHCL) is a part of the Tata Group and is dedicated to providing exceptional hospitality experiences.
