Front Office Assistant

As a Guest Services representative, your primary responsibility will be to create a positive first impression and provide a warm greeting to all guests entering the hotel. You will be expected to handle guest inquiries by answering questions related to hotel services, amenities, and local attractions. Additionally, you will manage reservations both over the phone and online, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in the booking process. In terms of administrative tasks, you will be required to answer phones, handle calls, take messages, and direct calls to the appropriate person. You will also provide general administrative support by performing tasks such as photocopying, scanning, and data entry to maintain smooth operations. Other responsibilities include responding to guest complaints in a professional and efficient manner, as well as upselling additional hotel services like spa treatments or excursions. You will be responsible for liaising with other departments within the hotel, such as housekeeping and maintenance, to ensure seamless communication and operations. Furthermore, maintaining a clean reception area is essential to create a welcoming environment for all guests.
