Your responsibilities include: - Ensuring that the air conditioning systems in guest rooms are in optimal condition to provide comfort for guests at all times. - Regularly checking and maintaining AC units in various public spaces such as lobbies, restaurants, lounges, and wellness centers. - Responding promptly to guest complaints regarding temperature control to minimize any disruption to their experience. - Performing routine checks on all air conditioning systems to prevent breakdowns, especially during peak times. - Cleaning and replacing filters, checking refrigerant levels, inspecting ductwork, and ensuring efficient operation of each unit. - Scheduling seasonal maintenance to prepare systems for high-demand periods like the summer months. - Providing immediate repair services for any system breakdowns, particularly in guest rooms or common areas. - Using diagnostic tools to identify issues and offer effective solutions quickly to minimize guest inconvenience. - Collaborating with resort management to optimize AC systems for energy efficiency, cost reduction, and environmental impact. - Recommending improvements or upgrades for more sustainable and efficient operations. - Monitoring the central air system to manage temperature control in larger areas like ballrooms, conference halls, and event spaces. - Ensuring the system maintains a cool environment while operating efficiently. - Coordinating with facilities and housekeeping teams to ensure all AC systems are well-maintained in guest areas. - Communicating major issues to management promptly to prevent disruptions to guest experiences. - Ensuring compliance with local and national building codes and safety standards.
