As a cafe staff member, your main responsibility will be to provide excellent customer service. You will be expected to prepare and serve a variety of food and beverages according to cafe standards. Additionally, you will need to address customer inquiries, resolve complaints, and ensure a positive dining experience for all patrons. Maintaining cleanliness in the cafe area is crucial, so you will be responsible for keeping the space clean, organized, and well-stocked at all times. Collaboration with other cafe staff members is essential to ensure efficient service and create a positive work environment. Your adaptability will be key as you may be required to assist with various tasks as needed. It is important to stay up-to-date on menu items, ingredients, and preparation methods to provide accurate information to customers. The role requires a full-time commitment and a preferred educational background of a Diploma. Prior experience in customer service, cafe or hotel industry, and guest services is preferred. This position is located in-person, and the duty timing is from 02:00 PM to 11:00 PM with weekends off on Saturday and Sunday.
