Front-End (UI/UX) Developer with Design System Expertise

Job Title: Front-End Developer with Design System Expertise Location: Hyderabad Department: Design / Front-End Development Reports to: Design Lead / Front-End Lead Employment Type: Full-time Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Front-End Developer with a strong understanding of Figma-to-Storybook workflows to join our product development team. The ideal candidate will act as a bridge between our design and development teams, ensuring seamless translation of pixel-perfect UI designs into responsive, accessible, and maintainable front-end code. Key Responsibilities: Collaborate closely with UI/UX designers to translate Figma designs into pixel-perfect , responsive UI components . Build reusable components and libraries using React , TypeScript , and Next.js and document them in Storybook. Ensure design consistency and scalability by adhering to established design systems and tokens. Maintain alignment between the design system in Figma and the component library in Storybook. Write clean, maintainable, and testable code following modern front-end best practices. Work with cross-functional teams to integrate front-end components into larger application ecosystems. Identify and address UI/UX inconsistencies or technical constraints early in the development cycle. Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate across disciplines. Requirements: 3+ years of experience in front-end development with proficiency in HTML, CSS/SCSS , JavaScript, and TypeScript. Strong hands-on experience with React, Next.js, or similar frameworks. Proven experience building and maintaining Storybook component libraries . Strong proficiency in Figma, including understanding of design systems, auto-layout, and design tokens. Familiarity with Git and version control workflows. Solid understanding of accessibility (WCAG) and responsive design principles. Preferred Qualifications: Knowledge of front-end JavaScript frameworks (React, Vue, or Angular). Style components using Bootstrap and React Bootstrap or Tailwind CSS , based on project requirements or team standards. Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments. Knowledge of unit testing libraries (Jest, React Testing Library) and visual regression testing. Experience contributing to or managing a design system at scale.
