Front-End (UI/UX) Developer with Design System Expertise

As a Front-End Developer with Design System Expertise at our company, your role involves collaborating closely with UI/UX designers to translate Figma designs into pixel-perfect, responsive UI components. You will build reusable components and libraries using React, TypeScript, and Next.js, ensuring design consistency and scalability by adhering to established design systems and tokens. Your key responsibilities include: - Collaborate closely with UI/UX designers to translate Figma designs into pixel-perfect, responsive UI components. - Build reusable components and libraries using React, TypeScript, and Next.js and document them in Storybook. - Ensure design consistency and scalability by adhering to established design systems and tokens. - Maintain alignment between the design system in Figma and the component library in Storybook. - Write clean, maintainable, and testable code following modern front-end best practices. - Work with cross-functional teams to integrate front-end components into larger application ecosystems. - Identify and address UI/UX inconsistencies or technical constraints early in the development cycle. Qualifications required for this role include: - 3+ years of experience in front-end development with proficiency in HTML, CSS/SCSS, JavaScript, and TypeScript. - Strong hands-on experience with React, Next.js, or similar frameworks. - Proven experience building and maintaining Storybook component libraries. - Strong proficiency in Figma, including understanding of design systems, auto-layout, and design tokens. - Familiarity with Git and version control workflows. - Solid understanding of accessibility (WCAG) and responsive design principles. Additionally, preferred qualifications for this position include knowledge of front-end JavaScript frameworks (React, Vue, or Angular), experience with Bootstrap, React Bootstrap, or Tailwind CSS, Agile/Scrum environments, unit testing libraries, and contributing to design systems at scale.
