Front-End (UI/UX) Developer with Design System Expertise

As a Front-End Developer with Design System Expertise, you will play a crucial role in translating pixel-perfect UI designs into responsive, accessible, and maintainable front-end code. You will collaborate closely with UI/UX designers to build reusable components using React, TypeScript, and Next.js. Your responsibilities will include ensuring design consistency by adhering to established design systems, maintaining alignment between Figma and Storybook, and integrating front-end components into larger application ecosystems. Key Responsibilities: - Collaborate with UI/UX designers to translate Figma designs into responsive UI components. - Build reusable components using React, TypeScript, and Next.js and document them in Storybook. - Ensure design consistency and scalability by following established design systems and tokens. - Maintain alignment between Figma and Storybook. - Write clean, maintainable, and testable code following modern front-end best practices. - Integrate front-end components into larger application ecosystems. - Identify and address UI/UX inconsistencies or technical constraints early in the development cycle. Requirements: - 3+ years of front-end development experience with proficiency in HTML, CSS/SCSS, JavaScript, and TypeScript. - Strong hands-on experience with React, Next.js, or similar frameworks. - Proven experience in building and maintaining Storybook component libraries. - Proficiency in Figma, including understanding of design systems, auto-layout, and design tokens. - Familiarity with Git and version control workflows. - Solid understanding of accessibility (WCAG) and responsive design principles. Preferred Qualifications: - Knowledge of front-end JavaScript frameworks (React, Vue, or Angular). - Experience with Bootstrap, React Bootstrap, or Tailwind CSS. - Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments. - Familiarity with unit testing libraries (Jest, React Testing Library) and visual regression testing. - Experience contributing to or managing a design system at scale.
