Job Description

The

mission of a Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A)

role is to provide data-driven insights and strategic financial guidance that supports informed decision-making, ensures financial health, and drives business performance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in monthly financial reporting, including preparation of variance analysis (Actual vs Budget vs Forecast).
  • Support in budgeting and reforecasting exercises across business units.
  • Prepare dashboards and data summaries to monitor KPIs (e.g., revenue, margins, cost variances).
  • Participate in preparation of management reports, decks, and presentations for internal reviews.
  • Support in analysing unit-level performance, identify trends and highlight areas of concern or improvement.
  • Collaborate with various departments to collect and validate financial and operational data.
  • Assist in preparation of Capex proposals and ROI analyses.
  • Help track project investments and update performance progress reports.
  • Contribute to the automation of reporting and development of BI dashboards using tools like Excel, Power BI, or Tableau.
  • Learn and contribute to business case development, cost control initiatives, and financial impact analysis of strategic projects.
  • Support in ad-hoc analysis and data-driven insights as requested by Finance leadership

Qualifications, Experience and Technical Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field (Master’s or MBA is a plus).
  • 5–9 years of experience in a business/financial analyst or similar role.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Good knowledge of MS Excel (Pivot tables, Lookups, Formulas); knowledge of Power BI, Tableau, or similar tools is an added advantage.
  • Basic understanding of financial statements, budgeting, and variance analysis.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Eagerness to learn and grow within the organization.
