Role Overview: As the Food and Beverage (F&B) Manager for Merlis Coimbatore, an elegant new luxury hotel, your role is crucial in creating and delivering exceptional dining experiences that reflect the essence of the property. You will be responsible for developing the F&B department from scratch, encompassing concept planning, menu design, staffing, and operational execution. Merlis Coimbatore, situated amidst 4 acres of serene landscapes near Coimbatore International Airport, boasts 142 meticulously designed rooms, five premium dining outlets, and a range of top-notch facilities, making it an ideal destination for various events and gatherings. Key Responsibilities: - Collaborate with the executive team to conceptualize and design the food and beverage outlets, menus, and service standards in alignment with the hotel's brand identity and target market. - Identify and implement innovative dining trends, guest preferences, and sustainability practices. - Develop Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for all F&B operations to ensure efficiency, consistency, and compliance with health and safety regulations. - Plan and optimize restaurant layouts, kitchen workflows, and bar stations for enhanced productivity and guest satisfaction. - Establish partnerships with local suppliers for the procurement of quality ingredients, beverages, and equipment. - Recruit and onboard a high-performing F&B team, providing comprehensive training programs to uphold service standards, product knowledge, and safety protocols. - Oversee daily F&B operations, maintaining quality standards in presentation, taste, and service across all outlets. - Lead and inspire the team towards excellence, fostering a positive work environment, addressing challenges, and implementing strategies for continuous improvement. - Interact with guests to gather feedback, personalize dining experiences, and develop initiatives for enhanced guest satisfaction. - Stay abreast of industry trends, technologies, and competition to ensure the hotel's position as a market leader, innovating F&B offerings to meet evolving guest preferences and market demands. Qualifications Required: - Proven experience in F&B management, preferably in the luxury hotel sector. - Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop high-performing teams. - In-depth knowledge of food and beverage trends, guest preferences, and sustainability practices. - Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving abilities. - Understanding of local health and safety regulations and procurement processes. - Passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences and driving continuous improvement in F&B operations.,
