Floor Manager

Job Summary

The Floor Manager – Sales Unit is responsible for managing daily sales floor operations in the textile showroom/store. This role ensures excellent customer service, achievement of sales targets, effective staff supervision, and proper merchandising of textile products. The Floor Manager acts as a link between the sales team and management to ensure smooth operations and high customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and supervise daily operations of the sales floor in the textile unit
• Achieve sales targets and contribute to business growth
• Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction
• Guide customers on textile products including fabrics, designs, pricing, and quality
• Supervise, train, and motivate sales staff to improve performance
• Ensure proper product display, visual merchandising, and stock arrangement
• Monitor stock levels and coordinate with inventory/store team for replenishment
• Maintain cleanliness, discipline, and professional standards on the sales floor
• Prepare daily sales reports and share updates with management
• Ensure adherence to company policies and sales procedures

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Graduate / Diploma (preferred)
• Minimum 2–5 years experience in textile sales or retail management
• Strong knowledge of textile products, fabrics, and trends
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Leadership and team-handling ability
• Basic computer knowledge (billing software, MS Excel)
• Ability to work under pressure and meet sales targets

Working Conditions

• Full-time role
• Standing and floor supervision required

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
