Job Overview

Floor Manager

Key Responsibilities

1. Floor & Team Management

  • Lead, motivate, and supervise a team of

    15–18 staff

    including fashion consultants, CRM, cashiers, and support staff.
  • Ensure high standards of customer service, grooming, and discipline across the floor.
  • Conduct daily briefings, task allocations, and performance tracking for the team.

2. Sales & Target Achievement

  • Drive and monitor daily, weekly, and monthly

    store targets

    and KPIs.
  • Support the team in upselling, cross-selling, and maximizing conversion rates.
  • Track team performance and provide guidance on improving sales productivity.

3. Customer Experience

  • Ensure a seamless and premium customer experience on the floor.
  • Handle escalations, special requests, and VIP clients professionally.
  • Ensure quick resolution of customer concerns in coordination with CRM and backend teams.

4. Ethnic Wear & Product Expertise

  • Strong knowledge of

    ethnic wear categories

    – bridal, couture, menswear, pret, accessories.
  • Support customers with styling guidance and product recommendations.
  • Stay updated with new collections, product features, and brand aesthetics.

5. Made-to-Measure (MTM) Operations

  • Guide customers on

    measurements, fits, customization options, and alterations

    .
  • Coordinate with the production/alterations team for timely deliveries and accuracy.
  • Ensure clear documentation and communication of MTM orders.

6. Store Operations

  • Maintain floor hygiene, visual merchandising standards, and stock availability.
  • Oversee billing, exchanges, order flow, and coordination with backend teams.
  • Ensure SOPs, policies, and compliance guidelines are followed.

Requirements

  • 3–6 years of experience in retail, preferably in

    ethnic wear / luxury fashion

    .
  • Proven experience managing

    large teams (15–18 people)

    .
  • Strong communication skills, leadership presence, and problem-solving ability.
  • Customer-centric mindset with the ability to handle pressure and fast-paced environments.
  • Experience in made-to-measure or customised fashion is highly preferred.
