Established in 1918, it continues a legacy of excellence in medical care and service. Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated Fire Safety Officer for our Mumbai location to join our team. This is a full-time, mid-level position requiring 4 to 6 years of work experience. The successful candidate will oversee fire safety measures, ensuring compliance with fire prevention regulations and safeguarding the hospital's infrastructure and occupants. Qualifications And Skills Firefighting (Mandatory skill): Must possess comprehensive expertise in creating and executing firefighting strategies effectively. Fire prevention (Mandatory skill): Demonstrable experience in implementing fire prevention programs and inspections to fulfill safety standards. Hazardous materials handling (Mandatory skill): Proficient in the safe handling, storage, and disposal of potentially hazardous materials. Emergency response: Skilled in developing and executing emergency response plans in high-stress situations. Team coordination: Proven ability to work collaboratively with teams across departments to maintain optimal safety standards. Physical fitness: Must maintain a high level of physical fitness to meet the physical demands of the job. Risk assessment: Competent in identifying potential fire risks and devising preventive measures to address them. Communication skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to instruct and report effectively. Roles And Responsibilities Develop and enforce fire safety policies and procedures in alignment with hospital standards. Conduct regular fire drills, safety inspections, and training sessions for hospital personnel. Collaborate with emergency services to ensure comprehensive emergency preparedness. Assess potential fire hazards and develop action plans to mitigate risks effectively. Ensure compliance with legal requirements and fire safety standards. Coordinate the maintenance of fire safety equipment and systems across the hospital. Report and document all fire safety incidents and corrective actions taken. Advise and provide consultation on fire safety measures and improvements.
