Financial Planning and Analysis Analyst

Role Overview:

We are looking for a new team member who is passionate about finance to join our team as a financial planning & analysis analyst at Bangalore. This role reports to the manager of finance in Bangalore and will be responsible for supporting the global FP&A finance group at McAfee.We are seeking an accomplished and experienced, high-energy professional who is prepared to make a difference. We are looking for someone who enjoys fast-paced environments and possesses a passion for analysis, modeling & business partnership.This is a Hybrid position based in Bangalore. You must be within a commutable distance from the location. You will be required to be onsite on an as-needed basis; when not working onsite, you will work remotely from your home location.

About The Role:

• Budgeting, forecasting, and tracking of expense line items and headcount
• Gather and analyze data to solve problems and evaluate scenarios to make predictions on future outcomes and support decision-making
• Analytical Skills: Ability to work with large amounts of data: facts, figures, and number crunching. Ability to see through the data and analyze it to find conclusions.
• Interprets results using a variety of techniques, ranging from simple data aggregation to complex data analysis
• Develop comprehensive financial and analytical models to support executive decision-making, optimize performance, and drive strategic outcomes
• Improves financial status by analyzing results and variances, identifying trends, and recommending actions.
  

About The Role:

• Must have working knowledge of finance, accounting, and business analysis.
• Minimum 4 to 7 years of experience as a planner in previous roles.
• We require someone who is well skilled with Excel and reporting tools.
• Workday tool knowledge is an added advantage.
• Passion for analysis, modeling, and business partnerships with strong communication skills.
