Job Description

The Financial Advisor provides professional financial guidance to clients by analyzing their financial needs and offering tailored solutions in investments, insurance, retirement planning, and wealth management. The goal is to help clients achieve their financial objectives while building lasting relationships and ensuring regulatory compliance. Key Responsibilities:Client Engagement & Relationship ManagementIdentify and engage prospective clients through networking, referrals, and cold calling. Build and maintain long-term relationships with clients through regular reviews and communication. Understand clients’ financial goals, risk tolerance, income, expenses, and assets to develop personalized financial plans. Financial Planning & AdvisoryOffer sound advice on investments, insurance, retirement planning, estate planning, and tax strategies. Recommend suitable financial products and services (e.g., mutual funds, life insurance, savings plans, pension schemes). Create detailed financial plans using industry tools and software. Sales & Business DevelopmentMeet or exceed sales targets and business development goals. Conduct presentations, seminars, or webinars to promote financial literacy and services. Keep up with product offerings, market trends, and competitor activities. Compliance & DocumentationEnsure compliance with financial regulations, ethical standards, and internal policies. Accurately document all client interactions, transactions, and recommendations. Stay updated on changes in financial laws and regulations. Ongoing Service & SupportReview and adjust financial plans based on life changes, market conditions, or updated goals. Provide excellent customer service and resolve client queries or concerns in a timely manner. Monitor portfolio performance and provide periodic updates to clients. Qualifications & Experience:Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field (Master’s degree or MBA is a plus). Certification in financial planning (e.g., CFP, CFA, or equivalent) is preferred. Minimum of 2–5 years of experience in financial advisory, banking, or investment services. Key Skills:Strong interpersonal and communication skills Analytical thinking and financial acumen Sales and negotiation skills Integrity and trustworthiness Knowledge of financial products and regulations Proficiency in MS Office and financial planning software Working Conditions:May require travel to meet clients. Often involves working under pressure to meet sales targets. Flexible hours may be required, including evenings or weekends, to accommodate client schedules.
