Job Summary:

The Financial Accountant will be responsible for managing the financial operations of the company, including bookkeeping, financial reporting, budgeting, and compliance with statutory requirements. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting principles, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to work independently.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain accurate financial records and ensure timely entry of financial data.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Handle accounts payable and receivable, bank reconciliations, and general ledger entries.
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
• Ensure compliance with GST, TDS, Income Tax, and other statutory regulations.
• Coordinate with external auditors and support the audit process.
• Prepare and file statutory returns and financial reports as required.
• Support the management with financial analysis and reporting as needed.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (M.Com, CA Inter, or similar qualification preferred).
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a financial accounting role.
• Proficient in accounting software (e.g., Tally, Zoho Books, QuickBooks, or similar).
• Strong understanding of Indian taxation and financial regulations.
• Excellent MS Excel skills and attention to detail.
• Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
• Good communication skills in English and Tamil.
