Job Description

Overview:
  • Create a continuous co-ownership/support model which allows better utilization of resources based on skillsets.
  • Materialize evolution and utilize the opportunity to work closely and engage the business partners and stakeholders
  • Early engagement for Inter-Company in case of acquisitions, to ensure there is effective coordination and collaboration between the timing of revenue recognition and timing if billings specially for SW models and support GFRC and Transfer Pricing Team accordingly.
  • Assist Inter-Company Operations team on all project related matters, from cross-functional projects, internal initiatives projects for process improvement and operational efficiencies, to integration of acquisitions and review of new business models.
  • Participate in project meetings and evaluate business scenarios for Intercompany and Transfer Pricing impact depending on the project requirements. This will involve consideration of existing processes for Netting and Non-Netting entities, Communicate and discuss assessments with the Inter company Operations supervisor and draw reasonable conclusions from information presented and critically evaluate points for dissemination or analysis.
  • Review and analyze business models and align with Revenue for cost/Revenue Matching principle for LL GAAP and US GAAP including Billing back models.
  • Document new processes as well as changes to existing processes through narrative or flow charts. Assist in preparation of training materials, Job Aids, and other summaries for process and policy changes.
  • Evaluate report needs within the Inter Company team including reporting support for Transfer Pricing and Transfer Pricing Compliance Reporting.
Manage any analyses or processes that are created through non-integrated entities, as assigned. This would involve coordination of information and ensuring appropriate revenue outcomes in the subledger.

Qualifications:
Ideal candidate will have the following qualifications:
  • Qualified Chartered Accountant/MBA or master’s degree or equivalent University degree in Accounting or Finance.
  • 15+ years of relevant experience in finance core accounting and / or systems domain.
  • Very strong project management skills with demonstrated experience in leading complex projects involving global project teams
  • In-depth understanding of Transfer Pricing models and Intercompany Flows
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills with ability to communicate effectively across different levels & geographies
  • Strong Solution Engineering Skills with demonstrated ability in analyzing complex business problems, identifying and implementing solutions that fit into the overall finance system architecture
  • Ability to work in a collaborative decision-making model with stakeholders across the company.
  • Ability to think strategically and tactically
  • Independent, results oriented, with a hands-on attitude
  • Proficiency in using standard desktop computer applications
