Finance Receivable - Excutive

Position Overview:

The Finance Executive – Receivables will be responsible for managing customer accounts, ensuring timely collection of outstanding payments, maintaining accurate records, and supporting overall credit control activities. The role requires strong attention to detail, communication skills, and the ability to work closely with sales, operations, and finance teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor accounts receivable ledger and ensure timely collection of outstanding invoices.
• Follow up with customers via phone, email, and written communication for overdue payments.
• Prepare and send customer statements, invoices, and reminders.
• Coordinate with the sales and operations team to resolve billing discrepancies or disputes.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of collections and customer interactions.
• Reconcile customer accounts on a regular basis.
• Assist in setting up credit limits and monitoring customer credit exposure.
• Generate daily, weekly, and monthly receivables and ageing reports for management review.
• Support month-end and year-end closing reports.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting standards, and audit requirements.

Key Skills & Competencies:

• Strong knowledge of accounts receivable processes and credit control.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting/ERP software (e.g., Busy / Tally)
• Good communication and negotiation skills.
• Analytical mindset with attention to detail.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Finance, or Accounting (B.Com, M.Com, MBA preferred).
• 2–5 years of experience in Accounts Receivable/Finance.
• Experience in the paper trade, trading, FMCG, services] will be an added advantage.
