Finance Lead

As the Financial Manager at our company, you will have full responsibility for all financial matters, ensuring accurate and timely completion of monthly reporting. You will optimize financial performance for the respective service line by leading end-to-end project accounting activities and preparing monthly financial reports covering P&L, AR / Unbilled, Backlog, and utilization. Key Responsibilities: - Lead end to end project accounting activities for the respective service line - Prepare monthly financial reports covering P&L, AR / Unbilled, Backlog, and utilization - Directly responsible for contract month end close activities in Oracle system - Engage with commercial and project controls team for margin analysis and drive improvements - Prepare annual budget, forecasts, and rolling forecasts in conjunction with management - Drive sustainable working capital improvements and optimize cash collection - Partner with shared services to ensure project billing is up to date - Prepare and review finance reconciliations on a monthly basis - Engage with auditors to support successful completion of audits - Ensure compliance with all Group control frameworks, policies, and procedures - Identify opportunities for continuous improvement within the service lines - Support ad-hoc projects as appropriate Qualifications Required: - Further education through college or university with a recognized accounting qualification - Qualified CIMA / ACCA / CPA or equivalent - Minimum of 5 years relevant accounting / commercial experience - Track record in people management and team development - Relevant system knowledge - ERP (Oracle Orbis and EPM) - Experienced in effective business partnering and stakeholder management In addition to the above responsibilities and qualifications, Wood is a global leader in consulting and engineering, providing solutions to critical challenges in energy and materials markets.
